fascinating diary kept of swordsmiths and their signatures on the Nagako

The package arrived in excellent shape; even though they had to ship it to a remote location.
The parcel was well packaged. Really fast shipping! Thank you
I began collecting travel guides because they are a glimpse into the far past of Japan. A complete set is hard to find but I have a few. They came in handy when I put on a couple of kimono exhibitions in China. They let the Chinese see that Japan had a high rate of literacy during the Edo period and that despite the government dictatorship, ordinary people had the means to travel and thousands sights to see.
I was not quick enough to snatch up another two volumes offered but I now have one third of the set. There is a particular illustration in the Settsu Meisho Zu-e which I love. It shows a riverside landscape garden stone center and all the workers carving lanterns or basins while others move a stone from a boat uphill with a capstan. As my work is building gardens that is the volume I am still searching for.
Very happy with my purchase. Sent promptly and packaged incredibly well.
I was very surprised and pleased with the condition of the books I ordered and how they were packaged! I will order again.
Very quick and efficient
Bon état de l'estampe, parfaitement bien emballée et protégée.
Drawings are so beautiful, could be useful a little bit of more context, but totally recommend it!

I bought this book as a Christmas gift for my son, an artist who has lived and worked in Japan.
It was, of course, boxed and beautifully presented, a delight to open as well as to peruse!
My son is delighted with it, and therefore so am I.
Thank you for your swift response to my order - everything went very smoothly. In fact, I think it was quicker to arrive than many parcels from places within the UK!
The book is in excellent condition
Item in good condition
Nice, clean copy of this interesting little e-hon relating to the wars and warriors of Takeda Shingen. Promptly delivered as usual.
I wish , i could buy more of your art works … very well packed though
( it would be nice if you could translate
the text , there ´re in the prints….)
Thanks/ merci .
Great gazetteer from the Meiji era. Full of place indices as well as some useful maps and charming illustrations of interesting sights.
Outstanding ikki-uchi illustration, as good as many a nishiki-e print. Interesting format with headers above each page of text with a 'thumbnail' sketch of an event e.g. Kansuke fighting the wild boar.
Useful adjunct to the literature on history of and plays about Shingen and Kawanakajima.
Another winner from Nihon Kosho!
Lovely book on Ikebana. It was a gift for my son who is very pleased with it.
As usual from Nihon Kosho, this was a nice little find with interesting illustrations of Takeda-Tokugawa history. A great addition to my library of ehon on the Sengoku period. Superb, trouble-free delivery via FedEx.
