I’ve purchased several books from this seller and, although old, most were in pretty amazing condition.
This one has several pages that are disintegrating so I’m not really sure if we can even enjoy it as a book, we might just frame it open at the best page.
(The open page pictured is the best one, many others are literally falling apart)

But, it’s an old book and that is sometimes to be expected.
I wouldn’t have said anything, but you asked me.

Seller is great: items are always packaged very well, shipping is very fast considering the distance, and communication is excellent.

Wonderful, unique products, carefully shipped, but I did get a surprise extra tariff charge from FedEx.

Nothing to share

Perhaps I didn’t check correctly the description but drawings seems better. Price a little bit high vs quality.

Interesting and lively example of its kind. A bit cruder in technique than others I have seen, but I am pleased to have it.

I had to change something. To dark and maybe not clean the edge of pages.
I made this change: cut 1 cm edge. Made more brilliant with yellow and orange colors. The edge 1/2 cm.

Some xilographies are messed.

I don’t read Japanese. So my is childlike meeting with your culture.

The print was faded in colour more than I thought from the photograph on the website. Probably the block was worn out. But disappointing, nevertheless.

I always enjoy the responsive and quick service from Nihonkosho.
But as with many on-line purchases it is difficult to determine the quality of an item from the images provided. This item was in very poor condition. I was able to determine some of the flaws in the print from the picture and the description. But I was still surprised when I received the print how damaged it actually was. My advice to buyers is to pay close attention to the description. I would request of Nihonkosho, if possible, to provide more accurate pictures of the defects and condition of the prints.

The pictures were really dirty, stained. I thought that the price reflects the quality and I trusted. But made a mistake.

This Is my book, but unfortunately i can’t read any of it and don’t now the historical details. Would it be possible from you to give some of it. Historical context? Dates? And all it is about?
